Team Needs: NFC South

Share |
The South Got Something to Say --Outkast

Carolina Panthers: They have the #1 pick and will not likely be able to take a franchise QB.  New HC Ron Rivera is going to have to decide if he's going to ride with Jimmy Clausen or not.  If he does, the talking heads have already think it's a consensus to pick an offensive peice.  I disagree.  I believe the Panthers need help on the Defensive Line and in the Secondary in the early rounds.

Tampa Bay Bucs: The Bucs benefitted from an easier schedule and finished the season at 10-6.  They'll pick 20th and may have lucked into filling much needed holes on the defensive line and at LB.  Starting local products Geno Hayes and Dekota Watson may make Florida State fans happy but both are not difference makers.

New Orleans Saints: The Saints followed up a Super Bowl in 2010 with one of the worst Playoff losses in recent memory as they traveled to Seattle and gave up 41 points to a Seahawk team that finished the season 7-9.  I guess that what you get when you act like you are urinating on the Falcons logo.  Karma is a mother isn't it Remi? The Saints were awful in the secondary and were torched by Matt Hasselbeck.  They have needs in the defensive secondary and need an impact RB because Reggie Bush is likely headed for free agency.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons were the best team in the NFC South and have the majority of their offensive skill position players locked up (Ryan, White, Turner, Jenkins).  They spent money on CB Dunta Robinson and he has underwhelmed in 2010.  The Falcons need help at Weakside LB with Mike Peterson continuing to age and quality depth at Right CB with highlight reel Brent Grimes likely to move back to nickel.
